03/25/08 - Ceres Man Pleads to Child Pornography
A Ceres, New York man pleaded guilty Monday in federal court in Buffalo to possession of child pornography. 34 year-old Jeffery Sikes pleaded guilty to charges from January 4, 2006. Court records indicate that Sikes sent two movie files of child pornography to an undercover postal inspector. Sikes e-mailed a link to his Internet account of the images and videos of child pornography.Sikes has two prior convictions for sex offenses from the year 2000. He will be sentenced on July 1 and faces a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison.

03/25/08 - 2 Juveniles Arrested in BB Gun Incidents
Two male juveniles are facing charges after breaking windows at the Bradford Area Public Library, Bradford Oncology and Bradford Auto Sunday night. Bradford City Police say the boys used BB guns to shoot out the windows of the businesses.
Four lights at the horseshoe pits at Hanley Park were also shot out too. City Police are also looking into the the damaging of tires to 15 vehicles throughout Bradford Sunday night.

03/25/08 - Smethport Man charged in Gun Sale
A Smethport man has been charged with selling two stolen guns. Court records indicate that 47 year-old Terry Gleason tried to sell a stolen 9mm handgun and AK-47 at a bar in Smethport. The two guns along with a 30.06 rifle were stolen from a Port Allegany man. Gleason is charged with receiving stolen property and illegal firearms ownership. He is free on $10,000 bail.

HARRISBURG — Attorney General Tom Corbett today announced that agents from the Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, assisted by local police officers from across Erie County and the Pennsylvania State Police, are in the process of arresting 41 suspects linked to a nearly $5 million drug organization operating in and around Erie. Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
