Rookie Trooper Dies in Crash

A 24-year-old rookie state trooper is dead from injuries sustained in a car crash.
The governor's office says Trooper Kenton Iwaniec of Lancaster was driving home Thursday night when another vehicle crossed the center line and crashed into him.
No one else was injured. Iwaniec died Friday, about three months after graduating from the state police academy. He was assigned to the Avondale station in Chester County.
