Another Guilty Plea in Jimerson Murder
A Fillmore man has pleaded guilty to helping another man commit a murder in the Town of Freedom. Thomas Burrows is charged with criminal facilitation and making false statements by helping Robert Secrist when he shot and killed Salamanca resident Therin Jimerson. He'll be sentenced August 5. Secrist pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and is serving 25 years to life in prison for shooting Jimerson on July 3. The incident happened at the home of Secrist's ex-girlfriend, Krista Brown. Jimerson was Brown’s boyfriend at the time of the shooting.
