Bradford students win big in 7th Annual Knights of Columbus Chess Tournament

chess2.jpgLeft, Nico Alvarado finished tied for second place in the junior high/senior high section of the tournament. The tournament was held in Dubois, PA on Saturday, April 5, and was organized by Tom Shade. The tournament director was Dan Lines. The event is made possible by the generosity of Owens-Illinois & the Tri-County Chess League. Other champions participating from Bradford, but not pictured, included Katie Wedge, Kyle Wedge, Nancy Lawton, and Jeremy Wedge.
