Clearfield County Man Accused of Killing Mother Has Preliminary Hearing

A Clearfield County man was in court today for a preliminary hearing on charges that he killed his mother. Jesse James Campbell is accused of killing Cindy Jo Coleman after a fight involving a computer. Coleman was found dead in the early-morning hours of March 13. Police say Campbell had spoken with friends about killing his mother in the hours leading up to her death. Court documents showed Coleman had asked her son to return her computer by that morning, but that he went to her apartment, woke her up and then hit her several times, cut her neck several times with a kitchen knife and read the Bible to her as she died.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
