Thieves Leave Boat High & Dry

State police say someone stole a boat and trailer from a Punxsutawney dealership, then left the boat high and dry. The boat was found chained to a tree in Clearfield County on Monday. Police say the boat and a trailer were reported stolen from All Seasons Boat Sales on Route 36. Whoever stole the boat chained it to the tree, then hooked a trailer to a vehicle and drove it out from under the boat.
Police are still searching for suspects.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
