Two Young Men Dead in Township Crash

Two local youths died as a result of an accident late Friday night on West Washington Street near the Marilla Reservoir. Bradford Township police say two vehicles were "traveling together" in the same direction when one of the vehicles left the road, hit numerous trees and burst into flames. Two of the youths died. A third young man is in Hamot Medical Center in serious condition. The second vehicle hit the guiderails, crossed both lanes of traffic, hit an embankment and ended up in a ditch. Police say three local youths were taken to Bradford Regional Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. Bradford Township Police were assisted at the scene by a state police crash reconstruction team from Erie, McKean Count District Attorney John Pavlock and McKean County Detective. Gerald Okerlund. Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department and Fire Police assisted with scene management. Also on the scene were the Corydon Township Volunteer Fire Department and Bradford City Fire Department Ambulance. Police say they will release more information when they finish their investigation.

Well, must be anonymous knows more already then the rest of us as nowhere in the article does it say yet that there even was booze involved. Give some of the younger generation a break and don't accuse them before you have all the facts. And, if you have some, come forward and share them!!

I believe WESB stated that the driver of the vehicle was being charged with DWI. Never the less it is a horrific accident. I feel sympathy for these boys families and for all other people they left behind. The four survivors are never goin to be the same.
My hope is that this teaches everyone a lesson and forces us as parents to talk to our kids. Although, The high school had an assembly last week on drinking and driving.

Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
