Man Indicted for Manslaughter
A Bradford man has been indicted by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury on charges of criminally negligent homicide, second-degree manslaughter and vehicular manslaughter in connection with an accident on November 9, 2007, in Limestone.
Lanny Holly was driving south on Route 219, about half a mile from the Pennsylvania border, when his vehicle went off the road, hit a guide rail, went over an embankment and hit a tree.
The vehicle caught on fire and Holly's passenger, Carol Holly, was trapped inside. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The indictment says Holly was driving while intoxicated.
An arraignment date hasn't been scheduled yet.
