DA Considering Death Penalty

Warren County's district attorney hasn't decided yet if he'll seek the death penalty against a man accused of killing his friend's estranged husband.

28-year-old Cory Altman is has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 39-year-old Shawn Yeager of Tionesta.

Yeager's wife 33-year-old Susan Yeager and 26-year-old Robert Pessia have been charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

District attorney Ross McKiernan says he's still considering all the factors involved in the shooting to see if it meets Pennsylvania's guidelines for a capitol case.

Police say Susan Yeager hatched the plot because she wasn't getting as much time with her sons as she thought she should.

The Death Penalty would be a blessing for the family. I believe they would want them to suffer in jail before hand though. I can't believe this crazy woman would plot to have her boys find their father that way and than complain that she wasn't seeing her kids enough - OMG like she really cared about them to do that to them. Shawn's brother and sister in law will take great care of those kids and they will never let someone as evil as this woman even come near their lives. May she get everything she deserves in jail!

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
