Three Hurt in Elk County Crash

One person is hospitalized with serious injuries and two other people suffered moderate injuries in an accident at 4:30 Wednesday afternoon in Horton Township.

Police say 47-year-old Annette Young of Brockport was driving a van that hit a tree. She's in serious condition at DuBois Regional Medical Center.

Two passengers -- a 16-year-old girl and 41-year-old Michael Ivan Clark also of Brockport -- suffered moderate injuries.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
