Teen Dies in Accidental Shooting

A Sugar Grove teenager is dead after an accidental shooting Saturday night.

16-year-old Travis Barnett died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to Warren County Coroner Jeremiah Borden.

Police say the shooting happened at about 7:40 Saturday night at a home on Orchard Street in Warren. They say another 16-year-old, whose name has not been released because of his age, picked up the gun and fired it, not realizing it was loaded.

Police are continuing their investigation.

We have accidental shooting because no one is using any Safety Devices. Why? The why is easy most Safety Devices take time to get your gun in a ready to fire state. If you need your gun in a hurry your in trouble. What is needed is a Safety Device that gun owners would actually want to use. It would have to be easy to operate, give instant access to your firearm, be inexpensive and would not need a key or combination lock. What does that? There is only one device in the world that does that and the inventor invented it for this vary reason to keep kids from killing each other. You can see it at www.safetybullet.com and yes I am the inventor
