Lewis Run Man Facing Charges

A Lewis Run man is facing assault charges after allegedly throwing a frozen pack of meat at his girlfriend.

According to records filed in District Judge Dom Cercone's office, 25-year-old Nicholas Blauser allegedly threw the meat at Michele Schaming sometime between 12:30 and 1 a.m. today.

Schaming suffered a laceration to her face and had to be treated at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Blauser is free on $10,000 unsecured bail.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
