Santa's Schedule Announced

Santa is going to be very busy this holiday season in Downtown Bradford’s Historic District!

The following merchants have announced their Santa schedule of appearances:
Saturday, December 5th, 12th and 19th, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Cavallaro Paint & Decorating/JC Penney Catalog, Kennedy Street; Sunday, December 6th, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – The Option House, 41 Main Street; Friday, December 11th, 5:30 – 8 p.m. - Santa’s House at 23 Main Street during Bradford’s Old Fashioned Christmas; and Saturday, December 19th, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Main Street Mercantile, 96 Main Street.

Santa will also read children's letters on 1490 WESB from 5:15 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Kids can drop off their letters in Santa's Mailbox at Tops on Main Street in Bradford.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947

Cops: Man Had Sex with 13-Year-Old

A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child.
