First Night's Got Talent

More than 600 people turned out at the First United Methodist Church to see that First Night's Got Talent.

Sixteen acts performed and the winner was – Marissa Buchheit.

Second place went to Devin Dewyer of Smethport. Ariel Campbell took third place.

The winners are pictured below, receiving their trophies (provided by 100.1 The HERO) from Nashville recording artist Robert Allen.

The Girl who sang Opera was clear winner not the High school Senior
as for 2nd place is was correct Devin Dewyer and 3rd was correct Ariel Campbell

In the way I saw it was variety and favorites by the judges as the Gal who win everyone knew she won before it begun, she is good that is true. The girl who sand Broadway clearly was winner hands down

Devin Dewyer was clear winner. He played a perfect performance while others had imperfections.I guess the judges didn't hear the crowd of 600 cheering for him and booing their winner!

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947

A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child.
