Two Fires in Emporium
A state police fire marshal investigated two fires in Emporium on Thursday.
The first happened at around 10 a.m. at 317 West Allegany Avenue.
The fire was contained to the stove and kitchen area. The cause remains under investigation.
Damage is estimated at $1,500.
Katrina Wyatt is the resident of the home, which is owned by Robert Horning of Bowie, Maryland.
The second fire happened 2:30 in the afternoon at 114 West Fourth Street. It started in a clothes dryer and was contained to the laundry room area.
Damage is estimated at $3,500.
Kelly McDonald is the resident of the home owned by Gary Pepper of Trinity, Florida.
No one was hurt in either fire.
