5th District Congressional Race

Congressman Glenn Thompson ran unopposed in Tuesday's primary and garnered 2,820 votes in McKean County. Democrat Michael Pipe, who will run against Thompson in the fall for the 5th District Congressional seat, picked up 977 votes in McKean County.

In Elk County, Pipe got 2,627 votes and Thompson got 1,988. In Cameron County, Thompson got 449 and Pipe got 299.
