Man Arrested for Attempted Shooting

A man has been arrested for attempting to shoot a woman inside a Youngsville home early this morning.

State police say 32-year-old John Little got into a physical fight with the woman at about 1:30 a.m. and aimed a bolt-action rifle at her as she lay on the floor. He also fired a shot toward her.

The shot did not hit the 28-year-old woman, who police did not identify.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
