PA Lottery System Operating Again
Middletown – Pennsylvania Lottery officials said that its statewide computer network that sells terminal-based games and validates winning tickets was again operational as of 11:42 a.m.
Pennsylvania Lottery officials had been working with its vendor, Scientific Games International, since 6 a.m., when the system normally comes online to start sales.
Lottery officials will conduct the mid-day drawings for The Daily Number, Big 4, Quinto and Treasure Hunt as planned.
“We thank our players and retailers for their patience as we worked to resolve this issue,” said Lottery Executive Director Ed Trees.
