Report: PA Has Country's Worst Bridges

Pennsylvania has the highest number of structurally deficient bridges in the country, according to a report released today by Washington DC-based Transportation for America.

The report says more than 26 percent of bridges in Pennsylvania are structurally deficient, giving the state both the highest percentage and greatest number of deficient bridges in the country.

The report goes on to say that 5,906 of Pennsylvania's 22,271 bridges were rated by inspectors as poor in at least one of three areas -- superstructure, substructure or deck.

Discrete historical memory-images mentally-transmitted from northwestern PA environs have occasioned the ruthless interrogation and pinpointing of PA individuals and populations during past decades such that routine maintenance and statehood function have been impaired. The effort to trace such sudden cultural input into various social settings has included intimidation, overcrowded school classrooms, and surveillance.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
