Court Issues Restraining Order Against
NY Tax Collection on Cigrette Sales

The Appellate Division of State Supreme Court has granted the Seneca Nation a temporary restraining order until June 20.
Seneca President Robert Odawi Porter issued a similar statement to the one he issued on Wednesday, and said there will be no change in the nation’s stand that it will never be a tax collector for New York State.
