Bus Driver Has Suspended License
The tour bus driver involved in a fatal crash on the New York State Thruway early Friday morning was driving with a suspended license.
60-year-old Rene Bisson of Welland, Ontario, has his driving privileges in New York suspended after receiving two speeding tickets in less than 3 years, one of them in Cattaraugus County.
Bisson faces a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. State Police Major Mark Koss says additional charges will depend on the results of their investigation.
59-year-old Timothy Hume from Dyrden, Michigan, died in the crash.
