Contractor Hospitalized After Shock

A contractor working on a house in Ellicottville is hospitalized after getting an electric shock Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff's deputies say the man was standing on an aluminum sawhorse while working on an electrical box, when he was shocked. The shock sent him backward off the sawhorse and the back of his head hit the concrete floor.

He was airlifted to ECMC, where there is no word on his condition.
