Kane Fire Still Under Investigation
A state police fire marshal is continuing to look into the cause of a fire that destroyed a Kane house late last night.
The fire in the two-story house on Park Avenue started at around 11:50 p.m. Trooper Greg Agosti says the fire did about $30,000 worth of damage.
The home was occupied by 51-year-old Barbara Floyd, 20-year-old Gabrielle Floyd and three boys, ages 5, 6 and 8. Agosti says they all got out of the house safely and the Red Cross is assisting them.
The building is owned by John Capello of Kane. The Kane police and fire departments are helping Agosti with the investigation.
