Potential for Icing on Area Roads
The National Weather Service in Buffalo says there’s a potential for icing on roads in Cattaraugus, Chautauqua and Allegany counties today.
Wet roads combined with temperatures falling below freezing by early afternoon will create the potential for icing on untreated roads. Motorists are advised to use caution, especially on bridges and overpasses.
The threat should diminish by this evening as roads dry out.
