Dozens of Accidents in Twin Tiers
More a dozen accidents were reported across the Twin Tiers this afternoon.
At just after 3 o’clock a pickup truck traveling on Route 219 went off the road just north of Tack’s Inn and rolled over an embankment. The driver was able to get himself out of the vehicle.
A couple of minutes later Bradford City Police were called to an accident at the intersection of Mill and East Main streets.
At around 2:40 emergency responders were called to a crash just west of the cemetery curve on Route 6. One person was hurt, but a helicopter could not respond because of the weather.
Several accidents were reported on I-86, including one where a driver hit a couple of road signs. Other motorists got stuck on the side of the road.
On Humphrey Road a car crashed into a utility pole and flipped over.
At just after 4 o’clock a vehicle crashed into a bus near Hinsdale. No injuries were reported. And, there was a rollover crash on the Portville-Ceres Road.
At just before 5 o’clock a car ran into a utility pole at the M&M Smoke Shop. At just after 5 o’clock a car went into a ditch on South Kendall Avenue near The Kitchen. No injuries were reported.
Also, fire police were called to Red Rock Hill in Otto Township twice when tractor-trailers got stuck on the road.
