Tractor-Trailers Collide on I-80
A section of Interstate 80 near Clearfield was closed for several hours this morning after two tractor-trailers collided.
PennDOT says the crash happened at about 3 a.m. a few miles past the Penfield to Clearfield interchange, and both eastbound lanes were closed for nine miles.
One of the drivers suffered minor injuries.
One lane was reopened at around noon. Crews are still cleaning up debris in the other lane, but expect it to be reopened later this afternoon.
PennDOT says one truck was carrying mayonnaise, but it was in boxes and did not leak onto the road.
