Celebrity's Sister Dies in Chautauqua Co.
The sister of music stars Nick and Aaron Carter died suddenly in Chautauqua County Tuesday.
25-year-old Leslie Carter Ashton, whose family comes from Jamestown, appeared in E! TV’s 2006 reality show “House of Carters.” She was found unresponsive at her father's Town of Chautauqua home and taken to Westfield Memorial Hospital.
The Chautauqua County Coroner's Office says there were "no visible signs of trauma" and officials are now "awaiting a toxicology report to determine a cause of death." That could take several weeks.
Nick Carter is a member of the Backstreet Boys; Aaron is currently performing on Broadway and was recently featured on the Food Network show “Rachel vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off.”
