Woman in Critical Condition After Crash

A woman is still in critical condition at ECMC after a two-vehicle collision at Route 353 and Leon Road in the Town of New Albion Friday afternoon.

48-year-old Linda Drumstra of East Concord, New York, was taken by Mercy Flight to Buffalo after the crash.

Sheriff’s deputies say she was a passenger in a Jeep driven by 53-year-old Dominick Drumsta Jr. that didn’t stop at a stop sign and hit a car driven by 56-year-old Susan Korbar of Gowanda.

Korbar was also flown to ECMC, but has been released Dominick Drumsta was taken by ambulance to Bertrand-Chafee Hospital in Springville, and has been released.

Deputies are continuing their investigation.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child.
