Man Allegedly Spit Blood at Deputy, EMS

A Bemus Point man is accused of intentionally spitting blood at EMS personnel who were trying to help him after an accident this morning and, later, spitting blood on a deputy sheriff.

Deputies say they got a call about a crash at just before 3 a.m. and found 22-year-old Scott Oram and his vehicle in the woods off Hannum Road in the Town of Chautauqua. Oram sustained facial injuries in the crash and while being treated by EMS personnel started swinging in an attempt to punch them. While being transported to the hospital he allegedly spit blood on the EMS providers, and also tried to hit one of them and a sheriff’s deputy. He also allegedly spit blood on the deputy.

At the hospital he had to be restrained so he could be treated. When he was discharged from the hospital he was sent to jail on $10,000 cash bail.
Oram is charged with obstruction of EMS and obstruction of governmental administration as well as driving while intoxicated and a number of traffic violations.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
