Assault Charges Bound to Court

Assault charges against a 31-year-old Bradford man accused of assaulting a 73-year-old man have been bound to court following a preliminary hearing in front of District Judge Dominic Cercone.

Robert Denman Jr. and Martin Howard were barhopping on the night of June 2 and morning of June 3 when, after leaving the Hotel Holley, Denman allegedly punched Howard in the face three or four times. Later, at Denman’s home, he allegedly punched Howard a few more times.

Howard suffered several broken bones in his face and police say when they were interviewing him at BRMC his eye was swollen shut, his forehead was severely swollen and he had difficulty speaking.

Denman is jailed on $50,000 bail.
