Dalton received his schools’ Athlete/Scholar Award, The Iron Eagle Award and varsity letters in all of his four years at Youngsville. He was a 1st team, All-Region wide receiver, and a 2nd team, All-Region strong safety. Dalton ranks an undefeated senior season, (10-0), and beating Mercyhurst Prep, among his greatest thrills in sports. He plans to attend a, yet to be decided, four year college with the goal of becoming an accountant. He is excited to be a part of the Raabe Classic’ “…..just to be able to play one last football game”! Dalton is an avid fan of the Texas Longhorns.

Zanaid Marra
Olean High School

Off: tackle Def: end
Height: 6’2” Weight: 210 lbs.

Zanaid will attend Niagara University in the fall and study hospitality and tourism. While in high school he was a member of D.E.C.A. and was twice chosen to represent Olean High School at the annual state convention. Zanaid was part of a game his senior season that had the Huskies coming back from a 21 point deficit to beat Dunkirk and keep their playoff hopes alive. That experience, he says, was his most thrilling moment in sports. He is excited to play in the Big 30 Game because he has been told it is a great time and he will get to play one more time. Playing baseball, slow pitch softball, fishing and just about any outdoor activity are Zanaid’s favorite things to do. He is a Dallas Cowboys fan and Cam Newton is his favorite player.

Trevor Neal
Port Allegany High School

Off: Wide Receiver Def: Safety
Height: 6’5’ Weight: 220 lbs.

Trevor will be continuing his football career and running track at Alfred State this fall. He was All-State honorable mention last season and was selected to play in Australia for International Sports this summer. His biggest thrill was, “… a being part of a little high school team that did big things!” The Gators won the District IX championship for the first time in the school’s history. Trevor enjoys his friends and loves to record music in his free time. He wants to play one more game with high school teammates before a high school crowd. He is a Philadelphia Eagles fan and admires the exploits of the Detroit Lions’ Calvin Johnson.

Thad Johnson
Frewsburg High School

Off: Quarterback Def: Cornerback
Height: 5’9” Weight: 170 lbs.

Thad Plans to attend St. Bonaventure University in September on a baseball scholarship. He was Frewsburg’s baseball player of the year in 2009, 2010 and 2011. In football, he currently holds the school’s rushing record with 1,745 yards. Playing Maple Grove in the playoffs at Ralph Wilson Stadium was his biggest sports thrill. Thad is a Buffalo Bills and C.J. Spiller fan who wants to play in the Raabe Classic for the chance to play one more football game before turning his focus completely to college baseball.

Chad Quail
Ridgway High School

Off: guard Def: end
Height: 6’0” Weight: 240 lbs.

Chad plans to attend Lock Haven University and study biology and chemistry. He ultimately hopes to be accepted into medical school and become an anesthesiologist. He was the recipient of a Jamestown Scholar Athlete Award, the Elkers’ football sportsmanship award and a member of the Scholar/Athlete Hall of Fame at Ridgway. Chad is a member of the National Honor Society and the Gold Club high honor roll. When asked why he wants to play in the Raabe Classic he says, “ The Big 30 Game is a chance of a lifetime to throw the pads on just one more time and it will also be a memory never forgotten.” The “big smack-down”, the pre-game butterflies and winning afforded Chad his biggest sports thrills. He lists his hobbies as show choir, Drama club, Ski Club, talent shows and daring to be different. Chad is a fan of Penn State football, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Hines Ward.

Hayden Senn
Randolph Central School

Off: N/A Def: Safety
Height: 5’8” Weight: 170 lbs.

Hayden Plans to attend Canisius College in September and major in biology. He wants to play in the Raabe Classic to have the chance to play with the most outstanding seniors in the Big 30 Area. He also wants to enjoy the fun of one last high school game. His biggest thrill was winning the 2009 New York State Class D Championship. Being a starter on that team and being named a team captain for the 2010 District Championship team were his biggest accomplishments. Hayden lists his hobbies as baseball and golf and his favorite NFL team as the Miami Dolphins and his favorite player as Dan Marino.

Ike Nearing
Sheffield Area High School

Off: Quarterback Def: Linebacker
Height: 6’1” Weight: 170 lbs.

Ike plans to attend Edinboro University in the fall with an undecided major. He was a two year letter winner in football at Sheffield and a four year letter winner in basketball. Having to make quick decisions playing quarterback was the thing Ike found to be the most thrilling part of football.

Andrew Myers
Allegany-Limestone Central School

Off: lineman Def: tackle
Height: 6’2” Weight: 270 lbs.

Andrew will study pharmaceutical sciences at Ohio State University in September. A member of the National Honor Society, he was named the Gators’ offensive lineman of the year for the 2012 and 2011 seasons. When asked why he wants to play in the Raabe Classic Andrew responded, “Growing up, I have always played football. In recent years, I have attended the Big 30 Game and hoped to be there some day. My senior year did not go the way I had hoped and going to a big Division 1 school, O.S.U., it would be nearly impossible to play again. This game gives me one more chance to play the sport I Love.” Andrew’s leisure time is spent watching football and hockey, playing the saxophone and going to concerts. His NFL favorites are the Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning.

The game is at 7 p.m. August 4 at Parkway Field and on 1490 WESB, 100.1 The Hero and WESB.com.
