Man Charged wtih Having Synthetic Drugs

An investigation into the possession and distribution of synthetic marijuana at a Cameron County business has led to the arrest of an Emporium man.

Police started their investigation in November at Embassy Powdered Metals in Emporium. Today, they charged 29-year-old Adam Goldsmith with possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 23.

The ban on synthetic marijuana and bath salts in Pennsylvania went into effect about a year ago.
