One-Car Crash Leads to Charges
A Clymer, New York, man is hospitalized and facing charges following a one-vehicle crash Thursday night in Clymer.
22-year-old Nicholas Weitschat was on Clymer Center Road when his car went off the road, rolled over an embankment and came to rest on its roof in a gully.
Weitschat was taken by ambulance to WCA Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. He’s charged with driving while intoxicated, and sheriff’s deputies say he will be facing additional charges.
Deputies say his passenger, 18-year-old Sheldon Harper was able to walk away from the crash with only a scratch.
