Stabbing Suspect Jailed
A man who police believe stabbed a man early Sunday morning in Jamestown was picked up by Pennsylvania State Police on Monday.
20-year-old Alexander Jewell of Jamestown allegedly stabbed a 27-year-old man in the abdomen at 3 a.m. Sunday on North Main Street in Jamestown. The victim is still being treated at UPMC Hamot.
Jewell was picked up as a fugitive from justice on an arrest warrant for first-degree felony assault He is being held in the Venango County Jail until his extradition hearing.
