Two in Custody for Home Invasion
UPDATE:
Two Bradford men are in jail for allegedly breaking into a South Avenue home and stealing a Fentanyl patch off a woman’s arm.
27-year-old Tyler Sherman and 39-year-old Richard Cavallero II are accused of going to the home at just after 10 o’clock Thursday night, knocking on the door and saying they were “Bradford Police.”
Court records say the woman was suspicious so she went to the door to peek out and see who was outside, when Sherman broke the door open, pushed his way in, grabbed the woman, put a knife to her throat and screamed at her, telling her to hand over her prescription for morphine patches.
The woman said she didn’t have a prescription, and only had the patch on her arm. Sherman ripped the patch from her arm, took her phone and ran away.
Witnesses told police they saw the suspect drive away on West Corydon Street in a red pickup truck. One witness got the license plate number of the truck, which is registered to Cavallero’s father.
Sherman is charged with four counts of robbery, one count of burglary and one count of criminal trespass, all felonies. He’s jailed on $250,000 bail. Cavallero is charged with felony counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, robbery and criminal trespass. He is in jail on $150,000 bail.

Cavallero II (felony counts of conspiracy to committ burglary, robbery, criminal trespass) and Tyler Sherman (4 counts of robbery, one count of burglary and one count of criminal trespass -- all felonies.) Cavallero in jail on $150,000 bail. Sherman has not been arraigned yet.
Two suspects are in custody for a home invasion and burglary on South Avenue Thursday night.
City police say they are continuing their investigation and expect to file charges tonight.
Chief Chris Lucco says more information will be released when the investigation is complete.
