Gillibrand Wins Re-Election
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has been elected to her first full six-year term as New York’s US Senator.
Gillibrand was in the unusual position of being up for re-election twice in two years after being chosen in 2009 to replace Hilary Rodham Clinton, who stepped down to become Secretary of State.
Her challenger during this election was Republican Wendy Long.
