Lawrence Fox Hearing Rescheduled

The preliminary hearing for the Buffalo man charged with attempted murder for a shooting in Bradford two weeks ago has been rescheduled.

29-year-old Lawrence Fox was scheduled to appear in Central Court today, but the hearing has been moved to November 15.

At about 4:45 a.m. on October 13 Fox allegedly fired seven shots toward a Pittsburgh man in the area of Chautauqua Place and Bushnell Street. He didn’t hit the man, but one shot hit the electric box of a Bushnell Street home. It didn’t go into the house. Fox fled the scene and was picked up 10 days later by the US Marshals Fugitive Recovery Team in Erie.

Besides attempted murder he is charged with aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and recklessly endangering another person. Fox is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $750,000 cash bail.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
