Bank Robbery in Johnsonburg

UPDATE: At about 4:45 p.m. a "Be on the Lookout" (BOLO) was issued for McKean County law enforcement agencies regarding this bank robbery suspect.

Elk County police are looking for the person who robbed the CNB Bank on Market Street in Johnsonburg this afternoon.

The person, who is believed to be a white man, had what they think is a black handgun during the robbery at around 2:15 p.m.

The man was wearing a gray hoodie, a ski mask and a red bandana across his face. Anyone who sees the suspect is urged to call 9-1-1.

Wonder why...maybe because even if you go to work every day you still can't afford to live... Min wage hasn't gone up but you can bet everything else is going up. between bills food a vehicle and a family unless you make 12 dollars a hour it impossible. People can't afford to live making a honest living so choices are either live poor or take from others..really sad

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child.
