Woman Allegedly Hit Boyfriend
With Shovel on New Year's Day
A Salamanca woman is accused of hitting her boyfriend in the head with a shovel early on New Year’s Day.
Sheriff’s deputies say that at around 4:45 Tuesday morning, in Salamanca, 19-year-old Courtney Crouse hit the man, who they did not identify.
Crouse was sent to jail without bail for the domestic violence incident, and was also arrested on a warrant for a previous incident involving assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
