Man Facing 300 Child Porn Charges
A St. Marys man is charged with more than 300 counts of child pornography, and related felony offenses for allegedly sharing computer files online with members of the state police computer crimes unit.
Donald Blessel, who turns 35 tomorrow, is scheduled for a preliminary hearing April 9 in front of District Judge Mark Jacob.
Besides the 311 counts of child pornography, Blessel is charged with five counts of disseminating photographs or film of child sex acts, five counts of displaying obscene and/or sexual materials and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. He is also charged with several misdemeanor counts of invasion of privacy.
