New Hospital Planned for Catt County

The TLC Health Network plans on building a $23 million hospital in Cattaraugus County.

Buffalo Business First reports that plans have been filed with the state health department for a building to replace the former Tri-County Memorial Hospital in Gowanda that was destroyed by flooding in 2009.

The new hospital would be on an 8-acre parcel of land about a mile away from the old hospital.

A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child. Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
