Snoozing Man Facing Charges

A South Dayton, New York, man is facing charges following an incident early Tuesday morning.

State police say they were called about an unwanted guest in a Park Street house and found 29-year-old Steven Masters sleeping in the passenger seat of a car parked outside the house at 3:05 a.m.

During their investigation, troopers discovered Masters had a small amount of marijuana and two smoking pipes.

He was released with an appearance ticket for South Dayton Court on Monday.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child.
