Winter Storm Warning Issued

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for most of the region.

In McKean, Warren and Potter counties, the warning is from 7 o’clock Friday morning until 7 o’clock Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service in State College says 4 to 6 inches of snow is probable.

The warning is in effect for Cattaraugus and Chautauqua Counties from 4 o’clock Friday morning until 5 o’clock Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo says the storm will drop snow, sleet and freezing rain, with up to 8 inches of snow and sleet probable.

A Winter Storm Advisory remains in effect for Elk and Cameron counties.
