Man Allegedly Had Hypodermic Instruments
A man who sheriff’s deputies say had a number of hypodermic instruments with him was sent to Chautauqua County Jail following a traffic stop late last night in Portland.
Deputies pulled a car over on Route 20 at about 11:15 for a traffic violation and, during their investigation, learned that the back seat passenger had the hypodermic instruments.
35-year-aold Leonard Erhard of Westfield was charged with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and was sent to jail on $500 cash bail. He scheduled to appear in Town of Portland Court.
