Candace Frantz

Candace M. Frantz, 63, of 62 Clarence Street, Bradford, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in Hamot Medical Center, in Erie.

Born January 5, 1950, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Ronald W. and Katherine L (Hays) Mealy.

On May 27, 1967 in St. Bernard Church she married Martin "Mick" Frantz who survives.

Mrs. Frantz was a1967 graduate of Bradford Area High School. She was a stay at home mom who took care of her children and cared for everyone's children as her own. She had also worked for Zippo Manufacturing.

In addition to her husband of 45 years she is survived by her six children: Kimberly (Jeffrey) Casterline, Buffie (Todd) Baldwin, Marty (Timothy) Nicastro, Chad (Wendy) Frantz, Cody Frantz and Brittany (Brent) Raabe, eight grandchildren, Chelsea, Devin and Delaney Casterline, Brock and Brett Baldwin, and Brandon, Haley and Hayden Nicastro, two sisters, Judy (John) Cattoni and Debi (Jeff) Prentice and two brothers Clayton (the late Jannie) Mealy and Patrick (Evelyn) Mealy, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Angel Langianese.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, March 15, 2013, from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main Street.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 1:00pm in the Foursquare Gospel Church with Rev. William Watson, pastor, officiating. Mausoleum entombment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
