Flood Watch is in Effect for Region
A flood watch is in effect for the entire region.
The National Weather Service in both State College and Buffalo says periods of moderate to heavy rain will affect the region through Friday afternoon.
Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is possible. Runoff from excessive rain will result in minor flooding of small streams, creeks and poor drainage areas with each wave of rain that passes through the area.
From north to south the watch is from Erie County, New York, to Clearfield County. From west to east it affects Erie County, Pennsylvania, to Potter County.
