Port Man Allegedly Forged Prescription
A Port Allegany man is accused of forging a prescription to get drugs from Ott & McHenry Pharmacy last month.
25-year-old Colt Ayers passed an altered prescription to get Subutex tablets and later lied to city police, telling them he got the prescription from another person, according to papers filed in District Judge Dominic Cercone's office. He also had a prescription that was taken from an encrypted, numbered prescription pad of Dr. Martin Jacobs.
Ayers was sent to jail on $25,000 bail.
