High School Football Player Passes Away
The high school football player who lost consciousness after being hit during a game Friday night, passed away today in Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo.
16-year-old Damon Janes of Brocton, New York, was hurt in a Friday’s game against Portville.
He was first taken to Olean General Hospital, but was then transported to Women and Children’s, where he was in intensive care until he passed away.
Damon was a junior at Westfield-Brocton High School and was a running back for the Wolverines.
