Mark Hall

Mark L. Hall, 56, of 5 Lang Lane, Lewis Run, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Hamot Medical Center in, Erie. Born March 6, 1957 in Corry, he is a son of the Robert and Edith (Greggs) Hall of Corry.

Mr. Hall was a 1976 graduate of Corry High School. After high school he enlisted in the United States Navy, served during Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and the Operation Iraqi Freedom and retired on July 31, 1996. He drove for NBS Trucking, worked for Kightlinger Construction and later as supervisor for Lewis Run Boro.

He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Mount Jewett Sportsman Club. He enjoyed painting, drawing and crafts, four wheeling and riding his Harley. He was a great outdoorsman and enjoying hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his companion, Vicky Culver of Lewis Run; three sons, Mark (Chasity) Hall, in Arizona, Steve Hall of Shinglehouse, and Stewart Hall of Wilkes Barre; a sister, Rebecca (Joe) Gurdak of Spring Creek; a brother, David (Joan Gee) Hall of Spartansburg; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 11:00 to 1:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Ave, where funeral and committal services will be held at 1:00pm, with W. LeRoy Beckes, retired pastor, officiating.
