Assault, Drug Charges Bound to Court
A Bradford man accused of choking his girlfriend and kneeing her in the face remains in McKean County Jail after charges against him were bound to court Wednesday.
24-year-old Axle Tankersley allegedly smashed windows in his girlfriend’s car on October 5 and then assaulted her to the point that she blacked out. She was treated at BRMC for severe facial injuries.
Police say Tankersley also had 20 Vicodin pills he didn’t have a prescription for.
Tankersley is charged with aggravated assault, criminal mischief, harassment and possession of a controlled substance.
